Interesting question. I am a very novice practitioner of the dharma, and as such my definition of my self is bound to change.
Today, January 15, 2007, this is how I define myself.
I am the working mother of three young children; Two girls and a boy aged 6, 3 and 8 months. I have been married for the past four and a half years, and lived in sin for four and a half years before that. I live in a small Canadian town and have lived here for the majority of my life.
I have always been on the outside of organized religion. I was raised an atheist but have always found myself drawn to eastern religions. Recently, many things in my life have pointed me towards Buddhism and as a result I have chosen to study it more thoroughly than ever before.
